Kiah Avis Adenauer is an outwardly ordinary American girl on the cusp of adulthood. Ordinary except for the parts of herself that she hides, the parts that aren't so ordinary, the parts she's afraid to let anyone see. On the eve of her 18th birthday she receives an inheritance; a box of mysterious items passed down from woman to woman in her family for generations. The inheritance coincides with an extraordinary experience that brings her to her knees, shakes her to her core and makes her question everything she believes.
