Clint Adams finally had it easy. He was kicking back in San Antonio and savoring the quiet life, not to mention the most desirable woman in town! That is until one Richard Bates arrived on the scene. A barbed-wire salesman by trade, Bates claimed the newfangled invention would change the face of the West. But he didn't mention the bloodbath that would threaten to tear the Lone Star state apart.
