Heatmate: Turning the Tables (M/M Alpha and Omega)

Nothing about Liam's relationship with his Alpha has ever been normal. When Bane saved him from a group of rowdy Alphas, it wasn't any surprise that he'd forced Liam to come home with him so he could protect the boy during his heat. Naturally, protecting him during his heat became helping him through his heat instead, once the pretty Omega convinced his Alpha that waiting was for losers.

The thing is, heats are easy. Your instincts pull your body along a set course and that's all well and good until you wake up mated to a man you met only a few days ago who has more than likely just gotten you pregnant. So, so pregnant.

Liam loves his Alpha but it's hard to live with the man's overprotective hovering. Bane sees him as a treasure that needs to be kept safe but the Omega has been putting on his big-boy pants for far longer than he's known his mate. Convincing the man of this is made difficult by the fact that the big Alpha turns glassy eyed and stupid whenever he's around Liam. His eyes fix on the boy's slowly swelling belly and the discussion devolves into more enjoyable horizontal pursuits. Maybe it's time for the Omega to turn the tables on his big, strong mate and show the Alpha that he can hold his own both in his bed and in his life.
