To Dream of Flying

Amelia Penfield dreams of flying ... but not in one of the buoyant airships that ply the skies of her native Denver, Colorado. Nor are her dreams the usual night time fantasies of a sleeping mind. No, Amelia dreams of standing on a high cliff overlooking a vast ocean and transforming from human female into a great bird. Her dreams are so real, so all consuming, that her father fears she will ascend Denver's tallest building and throw herself into the sky.
