A Few Short Seconds and Other Stories

In her authorial debut, Amanda Mooney offers six short stories dealing with themes of loss, survival, mental illness, and internal struggle. Such tales include two strangers who must work together to survive an apocalyptic catastrophe, an obsessive-compulsive who discovers that old habits die hard, a homicide detective with a self-conflicting duality, the death of a friend and the missed opportunity to say good-bye, and a sexual assault victim who takes justice into her own hands.
