THIS IS A BOOK FOR ADULTS ONLY, PLEASE. THE SUBJECT MATTER IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN OR TEENS UNLESS PROVIDED TO THEM BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT. Thank You!
Born to a tolerant but frequently absent father and an intolerant and totally absent mother, Bobbi Ingliss is an enigma. She is less than one-in-a-million; much less, in fact. She is somewhere around one-in-a-billion.
And, she is angry. Angry enough to hunt down the one person who can give her some sense of peace. The one person who can give her the answers to questions she doesn't want to ask.
The one person she never wanted to see, much less talk to, for the rest of her life.
So, she sets out on a journey of discovery to find herself or perhaps lose herself forever.
What's a teenager to do? And, if she finds out, what does she do with the rest of her life?
This book is divided into four parts.
Part One features selected diary entries from Bobbi in her own words all from the last years she spent on school.
Part Two is her telling of the story of how she set out to find the one person who might hold an answer for her. This was the original BI story written in 2011.
Part Three is her own story of her young adult and beginnings of professional life and a personal crisis she goes through ten years after Part Two.
Part Four is Bobbi's story of her life later on. It was taken from information provided by the one person who knew her the longest, loved her the most and was willing to share with the author everything she knew about Bobbi. It reads more like a fictional tale but is as true as the memories that went into it.
The entire four parts make up a sort of biography/autobiography of an intriguing person who overcomes her differences, learns to live with herself, and allows herself to love and be loved. It is a wonderful tale for young adults who might be going through personal identity challenges.
