The desert sun baked down over the cracked, dead land.
He didn't know how he knew, but somehow, something in the back of his mind told him he was going the right way. Even though the trail had long since blown away.
He had been following the trail for what felt like an eternity (it had in actual fact been only seven years). Through forests, mountains and now the largest desert he had ever seen.
Every time he thought he had gotten close enough to capture and kill his father's murderer, he got away. The last time had been the worst and weirdest yet.
