The Road of Life - The Loneliest Road in America

We all begin our lives traveling down our own road, "the road of life". Throughout life we go down a road by choice or we're forced to go down another road because of a good or bad event that happens in our life. We can't predict the future knowing what's around the corner or over the hill, but what if we could go back in our lives and travel down another road and make another decision, one of those we can control and travel down the other road of our own choosing. Would you do it? Would you go back?
This is a work of fiction. A story about a woman who, not unlike most people, is reliving her life thus far and wonders if her life would have been better if she had taken that other road in her life she was in control to do if she chose. She's traveling down the current road in her life and is confronted with an opportunity. An opportunity to turn around and go back to take the other road, but would it really be an easy decision?
