Social Classes

Joseph Schumpeter (1883–1950) was a famous economist close to the Austrian School of economic thought. He was also a sociologist who inquired about the nature and impact of social classes. In this short ebook, he argues that social classes exist because people value social hierarchy. There is a demand for social classes. But class barriers are always surmountable.
