'Jump off when you get to the pasture!' Shouted Pierre, cupping his hands around his mouth so Polly could hear him. With limited riding experience, Polly had impulsively mounted the pony. It had been enticing with its doleful eyes and friendly nudging. Now, the pony galloped faster and faster. Polly began to panic when she spotted the ridge ahead. Was it a sheer drop off, or was there a gradual descent? She glanced around to find a place to jump off.
