The Bond Joining East and West

In his time, Keith de Folo has been acquainted with well-known Bahá'ís, observed religion and politics in faraway countries, and witnessed firsthand the dawning of what we now refer to as "globalization". Whether writing about a Nepali poet or illegal immigrants in the U.S., his Bahá'í insights into events on the world stage give us a different perspective from most writers commenting on the late 20th century. This collection draws from his experiences in Italy, Sri Lanka, Nepal (where he was a member of the first National Spiritual Assembly), Myanmar, and the United States to paint a vivid canvas of a world in change; a world whose similarities, however obscured by chance and circumstance, are greater than its differences.
