Created by artist Troy Sayers this book takes us on a trip through time. Beginning in present day at a robotics company in California the company's founder Lance is telling the story of how he got into robotics, we flash back to 1972 in his garage. He has created a robot that it is powered by a car battery. To start it up for the first time he uses jumper cables. Although Lance has seen his father do this, in his haste he crosses the cables and there is a small explosion. As Lance lies unconscious the robot he has created gains consciousness. The two become best friends but "Blinkin" as Lance calls him is only animated when the two of them are alone leading the viewer and an adult Lance to wonder if it was all a kids imagination. This book has 44 pages of full color illustrations. 100% of the proceeds from this e-book go to benefit Center For Accessible Art a 501c3 nonprofit making art accessible to those who wouldn't otherwise have access to it.
