Splinter

Della begins suffering from nightmarish visions of an old attic after a splinter from a weathered wooden shingle used for starter wood embeds itself into her thumb causing a severe infection. Now fighting for her life from the infection, Della's nightmares turn into a hypnotic reality as the entity inside her body pushes her to investigate a hideous crime committed decades ago in the attic the shingles came from.
