The Jewels in My Crown

When you picture a bride preparing for her wedding you may think of her picking out the perfect dress, the veil, and the beautiful flowers. She must decide what church to use, where to have the reception, and complete the list of wedding guests. There are so many decisions she must make to prepare for her wedding.

We the Church are a Bride preparing for our wedding day. Christ, our Bridegroom, is coming soon. The question is: Are you ready for that perfect day? Have you grown up and matured or are you still in the same place spiritually, fighting the same battles? Have you learned to forgive? Do you sail through the storms of life that come against you? Do you know how to fight against your adversary the lion? Are you an ambassador for Christ? These are some of the jewels of learning that enable you to become a mature Bride. Christ has a crown waiting to present to you, His mature Bride.

Follow April's journey from being hopelessly lost to starting a new life at the preparation house, where she begins preparing for her wedding day with JC. Each lesson learned is a jewel in the the crown that JC is anxiously waiting to present to her on their wedding day. Are you prepared for your wedding day? We all must learn from our life experiences, good or bad. It's ultimately up to you whether your lessons result in a beautiful jewel or a stone of offense.
