Fluffy: A child's first pet experience

The mother of the young boy in this book adopts a pet from the shelter, teaching her child that it is more important to adopt rather than shop. The young boy is scared that he will not be fit enough to care for the dog. While breaking the dog into it's new home, the mother of the young boy walks the child through the important process of properly caring for a dog of medium to average size. This book is most recommended for children between the ages of three and six. Although every child is different, this book may also appeal to children slightly older or younger.
