The Honey Man

Charlie MacLean was tired of the city. The self-made millionaire had also grown tired of the day to day strife imposed by Wall Street. All he wanted now was a place he could claim as his own. A place far away from New York City, nestled somewhere in the mountains.
On the opposite coast, Shannon MacNary was also tired. She had survived three affairs, all of them ending bitterly, was stuck in a thankless job that she hated. Insulted for the last time, she left her job and the smog to visit a friend who had a vacation cabin a few miles north of a small mountain town.
Dougal and Bonnie MacKindrick owned a small farm. The homestead had been in Dougal's family for three centuries, but the elderly couple were also growing tired. They began looking forward to a Florida retirement.
When these three met, Lamar Reynolds, a local businessman, surfaced, greedy, impulsive and deadly. The drama begins.
As other characters enter the fray; a red-haired deputy, a Bible toting sheriff, a pair of ruthless drunks and a beautiful realtor combine to engage in a bloody, ruthless struggle for power.
The question is not about the guilt, but who is responsible for the ultimate resolution of the problem.
