Paul and Kelly have twins at the end of book 3, but one of the twins has a heart defect. Read this book to find out what happened to Paul, Kelly and lil Carrie. Pap falls ill also requiring surgery. Paul and his father-in-law are in a skiing accident. Paul graduates from vet school and Paul, Kelly and their 2 children and pap move for Paul to start a new practice. There's a surprise at the end.
All the trauma stories are true, but the names of the patients were changed to protect the innocent or insane.
