PAULO & ANTHONY

A story about a friendship between a 10 year old boy living in an abused home with his sister and mom and an old Italian immigrant down the street. The story expresses how ignorance can manipulate people's opinions about other people without really knowing them, meeting them, or even giving them a chance.

The friendship that develops between is something that would benefit any child who could experience the wisdom and kindness an elderly person could give them if they had the opportunity to experience a friendship like this.

I also wanted to also express the importance of living life to its fullest and to realize that all things in life influence how we spend the remainder of our life. And to be cautious to not let bad influences control us because we all have the ability to control our own thoughts while cherishing the time we have on this earth. Never forget that time is the most valuable thing we can spend so don't throw it away.
