It's the 25th century AD, and civilisation has fallen.
Mankind's freedom now a thing of the past, all now forced to follow one god, to abide by one law, a law that brings strictness, obedience, loyalty, all through fear. People living their lives in order to please those that they believe to be the 'Chosen ones', those that were sent from God to show the people of the world the way in life.
The Chosen ones using a fist of hatred to control those they deemed as slaves. No man, woman or child being safe from the evil that swamped their daily lives.
The 'Chosen ones' taking what they want with no one stopping them. All believing that it was the will of God. God wanting the people to please the 'chosen ones'. All following a single path that took them through hell itself.
Mankind now slaves to those that God had sent down to them. Slaves to do the work that was demanded of them. Slaves that never dared ignore the commands. Fearing to question the butchery that was their daily life. Mankind always wondering if the day they woke would be their last day?
Fear being a part of their lives now. Generations of people knowing no other way. Knowing nothing of freedom, nothing of peace. Nothing of life. Leaving no hope in their hearts.
Only there was hope in many hearts. The hearts of the people who believed that there could be a world when mankind was free. A world where slavery would no longer exist. A world where people would not face torture simply for asking questions.
There were people, many people, in growing numbers, who were fighting back. Many having been fighting for generations. People who have stood up the the evil itself. People whose parents, grand parents and more had fought many bloody battles in order to free mankind from the shackles that had held them in fear for centuries.
These people that have been fighting for centuries, believing that they can take the evil from those they feared. Believing that a great new world can be born. A world where people can be free of slavery. A peaceful, civilised, world that can ascend from the Ashes
