Don't Write Fan Fiction and other stories

What began as a rant at the less-than-amateurish efforts of a bunch of juveniles writing barely disguised smut and calling it Fan Fiction turned into a short book of stories that really fit nowhere else.

A few were part of a publisher's contest back in 2011 to write a 600 word short story. Not 599 and n0t 601, but exactly 600 words and have it make sense. The author submitted four stories and was notified that one of them was in the final group (no indication of how many) but it did not win. Sigh!

A couple were random ramblings, and the final one a published story that was part of a three-story parody of another author's Thomasina Swift series.

There is nothing earth-shaking here, but you might find a good couple of hours of reading inside.
