The Naming of Vespera Two-Worlds

Vespera has always thought of herself as a perfectly ordinary young woman. Well, okay, so she has a very unusual name. But lots of people have weird names, it doesn't mean anything. And it's not like anyone ever calls her by her strange name; everyone she knows uses a nickname or a pet name for her. It's almost like the name "Vespera" doesn't refer to her at all.

But when some very unusual things start happening to her, she begins to wonder if she really is as ordinary as she always thought she was. Normal people don't find extra corridors in their homes that are only sometimes there. Normal people don't meet strange old ladies in those corridors who give out cryptic warnings about some mysterious presence looming over their lives. And normal people don't have dreams so vivid that they can't shake the fear even hours after they wake.

Maybe she isn't as ordinary as she thought after all.
