When do you know life is a play, or at least a series of plays? One usually knows when a situation is so absurd, it can't be anything but a play. This is a play, but then again it's just something that happened in Quakertown, Pennsylvania in 1961. There are a bunch of characters that include people, three cars and a diner, of course. It wouldn't be a story if there wasn't a diner. Is this enough for a play? Perhaps. Believe it or not, this is a true story, more or less, and the names have been changed, well most of the names have been changed to protect the author. I guess you would have to be there to see how farcical a farce can be, particularly when it is based on true events. Join in; the water's fine; it's spring and summer's coming.
