The Nature of Life and Death: A Volume of Zen Poems is Dae Soen Sa Nim (Great Zen Master) Chang Sik Kim's seventeenth volume of poetry. These poems portray the meaning of life and death in our human world, in the natural world and in the universe. The imagery of the poems cover a wide range of topics from everyday life to extreme circumstance. Zen Master Kim's poems are instruments of Zen teaching; they show us the hidden sides of life, take us on far journeys and dispense questions for us to ponder.
