Beyond Horizon's Edge

As far back as anyone could remember life in the valley had been simple, based upon the precepts and laws expected of them to follow from generations past. But on the eve of the yearly harvest, one man thought differently - Jon Evers. The very idea of doing the same ritualized activity year after year had become like a death sentence to him, slowly dousing the fire that stirred his soul. Filled with the heart of an adventurer who often dreamed of what lay beyond the 1000-foot high curtain of rock that encircled him like a gilded cage, Jon has finally found the courage to leave. Knowing he could never make such an arduous journey alone, he elicits the help of a friend, Logun Moro, and together, they decide to scale the valley walls, and into freedom. What they discover, however, brings into question everything they ever knew about the valley, including a terrible secret that could bring an end to them all.
