Buckling under the weight of class rankings and continual performance evaluations, Phil Pescoe, a second-year medical student, suffers a crisis of self confidence. Struggling to find his way in the world of medicine, he one day discovers the doctor's mirror. Suddenly, through the mirror, his medical future seems to come sharply into focus. But, is the image that he sees in the mirror real? Or is it only a mirage?
