Wellspring of the Stars

Dr. Scott Ryan was working in the Emergency Room at the University Hospital when a group of armed thugs broke in and kidnapped the Jane Doe he was treating. Just before she was taken, his patient had passed him a dragon circled gold ring. He followed her abductors out into the street only to find them gone without a trace. Moments later he is catapulted into another world people by ax wielding lizard men, sentient forests, and creeping terrors. Suddenly he becomes the focus of another war that could spill over into his own world. The solution appears to be finding the missing woman and something called the Wellspring of the Stars.
