The Western Ukraine is very popular for the "green" tourism: its medium-range mountains with flat peaks and wood-covered slopes, amazing landscapes, healing air, favourable climate, unique mineral springs make this region one of the healthiest and beautiful places in Ukraine.
The Carpathians have preserved primeval forests, unique for the Central Europe. Their mountains are mild, free from rocky edges, with the infinite woodless areas called polonynas.
