The Connection Part 2 VAL

Valenestra Markum (Val) is a vampire born to the leader of the biggest vampire clan on the planet. When her mother leaves her father Val joins forces with him and they begin a vampire dynasty using and manipulating humans to get what they want. At least that's the plan her father has. But Val falls in love with one human or another over and over messing up his plans. Her heartache and loss lead her to turn to him for comfort which turns into so much more. But his jealousy and insecurity seem to be too much for them to overcome. Or is it?
Val knows her father has a dark side, but when her mother returns she sees a whole different side of him and starts to fear for her life. She finds herself unable to escape him and spends years trying to find a way out. His cruelty and abuse drive her to the edge, but she is not strong enough to fight him and win. It doesn't stop her from trying until she falls in love again. He uses her affection for this human to try to control her, but it doesn't work out the way he had intended.
