Becoming Luke's

Allow me to tell you a story about a group of friends and the summer that would forever change their lives. Their story takes place in an alternate world, a world where Rome never fell, a world that never saw the race-based slavery of African people. In this world people are enslaved, as was the case in ancient Rome, as a punishment for committing crimes, in repayment for debts and those that voluntarily enslave themselves. Yes, voluntarily enslave themselves; our story deals with this last category.
Luke McNally and six of his friends will be spending the summer before college together at Luke's grandparent's remote farm. Over the course of the summer Joshua, then Cody, give in to their secret desires to serve, acting as a slave for their friends. But as the summer draws to a close the two young men are faced with a choice, do they go back to their regular life, or do they decide to continue on as Luke's slaves?
