A Change of Times

Asher Byran, a very old man, has passed away at sea. He is buried by his grandson, Cory Mac Art on a deserted Island on the Cay Sal Bank. The young man sails back to Coconut Grove to report the death to the family attorney. Unaware that he's heir to a substantial fortune, he then sets out on his great-grandfather's old ketch to make his way in the world. This is a gentle story that introduces the reader to the Bahamas and Caribbean before they were developed. A Change of Times is a sea story, and a wonderful romance. It's a story of young love, innocence and adventure joined by two splendid young people, true partners, in a place, a part of the world that has long since changed.
