A sixty-five-year-old, man, retires after the death of his wife. To keep busy starts to write science fiction novels and becomes a successful author. Falls in love with his young editor and she convinces him to write a new book, with less vivid sexual descriptions than he usually wrote in his previous novels. This is a love story, with futuristics views. Two stories in a single book.
