The Adventures of the Indians and the Soldier

In the last months of her first grade of school. my granddaughter and her friends asked me to write a book. Haley said to me, "Grandpa, the exact title of the book has to be: The Adventures of the Indians and the Soldier". I decided that the adventures would be some real experiences that happened to my friends and I while living in Utica, Minnesota in the 1950's and 1960's. I embellished these experiences with creative thinking. The Native American elements are based on my knowledge of Native American culture and aren't meant to accurately reflect the Native American culture as they see it. The trip to the sweat lodge and the adventures had while there, are fiction. I think the book is meant for children and the child in us adults. The book encourages decent christian values and behaviors.
