Wormwood Dawn: Collection I

Dan was just a midlife loser with nothing to live for. His rampant alcoholism and drug addiction have driven his life into a downward spiral, and nothing ever went right for him. Then, one morning as Earth passes through the tail of a comet, a strange orange fog brings a plague of epic proportions. Millions of people around the world are killed instantly, and civilization is plunged into chaos. Those who survive either barricade themselves in their homes, or become raving, flesh-eating lunatics.

To make matters worse, the unknown pathogen begins to have mutative effects on some of the population. Strange, alien monsters rise from the remnants of humanity, bringing death and destruction on a massive scale. In an effort to restore a new world order, a paramilitary organization takes it upon themselves to capture, re-educate, or exterminate the rest of the population.

Through all of this, Dan must pull himself together and learn to survive using the few skills he has. With the help of his friend Drew, he must gather his wits and defend the only home he has, roaming the countryside of Southern Indiana to find the means of survival. Along the way, the two will find friends, meet terrifying and repulsive enemies, and discover the shocking secrets of Wormwood Dawn.
