Author's Note: This book was originally plotted to be the first book in the Chick Flick Clique romantic comedy series set in Aspen Grove, California, kicking off the series with this woman who didn't live in Aspen Grove becoming enchanted with the town (and its mayor). But life, like books, takes twists and turns: another book seemed like a better introduction to the town (Pride and Precipitation), two more books got revised into the series (Regally Blonde and My Spare Lady), and then Fifty Shades of Greystoke jumped out and demanded to be written right now.
So, finally, it's Grace Holden's turn in book #5. I actually think her story is better now because my readers are so familiar with Lindsey and Ethan's on-again/off-again romance and with the other characters in town.
I hope you agree and that you think it was worth the wait.
