From Ganymede to Mars

On his first assignment, Al Kenward and a team constructing a scientific research base on Ganymede hear about a disaster at the colony on Mars. Every available astronaut is summoned to assist in the recovery efforts. But Al and a fellow astronaut wind up monitoring the outpost on Ganymede by themselves. He must contend with his partner's personal struggles, while changing conditions on Ganymede and Jupiter threaten their lives. Back at Earth-Luna, their troubles continue when his partner's personal problems reach a critical point, just before they're assigned to crew a transport ship to Mars. They face new dangers at Mars when they tour a research base, and another disaster strikes.
