Pzianians are a warrior race, not by choice, but by necessity. Centuries past, they were approached by another race, who sought to enslave them and strip-mine their planet. Their planet's leader at the time, Privok, implemented a mandatory D.N.A. enhancement program for all Pzian citizens. His genetic manipulation plan saved the Pzian race and planet; however, in the rush to secure their existence, the scientists failed to realize that the changes were not a one-generation boon. Each generation since has increased in size, mental acuity, strength, speed, and vision. To date, the scientists have been unable to halt the progression. Pzian males and females are large, musculature to the extreme, and have eyes that are nearly entirely the deepest of brown or simply black. The pupil blends in with the iris and there is very little white around the iris. Evenly matched hair and eye color changes have only occurred within the past three generations.

Pzianian females are only a couple inches shorter, averaging six feet-two inches, and about twenty pounds less in weight than the males who average two hundred-sixty pounds. The females are beautiful, intelligent, always serious, and deadly. Ninety percent of the Pzian population, since the gene manipulation occurred, does not live in single-family units. Females and males enter into contracts to produce strong offspring. Males are as much a part of the child's lives as the female. Pzian females are plentiful and wonderful mothers. They prefer their independence, just as the males. Approximately ten-percent of the Pzianian population follow the old traditions and reside in single-family units, staying faithful to their life mates.

Gorgo, third-born, warrior and healer, prays to the Pzianian gods and goddesses to help him find a human female to life mate. He has witnessed the loving and playful relationships between four of his brothers who have taken human women as life mates, and longs to have that for himself. He has found an honored guest he is interested in, and prays she will be everything he hopes for. Dr. Jenna Roberts is a neurosurgeon who specializes in prosthetic limbs. She has been designing ways to enhance and integrate prosthetics with neurotransmitters. Now Gorgo just has to make sure she is the one for him, overcome the cultural barriers, convince her aliens exist, get her to fall in love with him, and be willing to travel to an alien planet. All within two weeks.
