Poems to Mary Helen

This is a story, told through poetry, of one who lost his beloved to cancer; of
the heart's grief, the seemingly inconsolable sorrow and the eventual healing
and solace through the Divine Grace. It could also be the story of all who have
faced cancer in a child, spouse, sibling, parent or friend and their attempt to
lessen its ravages through every possible method of healing. Yet in the end,
they've had to bear the weight of sorrow upon the soul. For those people,
these poems offer a measure of peace, and humility and gratitude for the
blessing of their loved one in their lives.
