In book one, we meet Meg and Ben, we see how they meet and instantly click. What we didn't see, is what happened when Meg went back home.
After her mother puts her in another life altering situation, she's finally free to live the life she was supposed to live. Better late than never, though right? Packing her bags and what little possessions she has, she heads for her best friend in Boston. Hiding a tiny secret from the guy who made her feel normal wasn't part of her plan.
