Who killed the boss? A small town hardware store owner is dead. Who had the most to gain?
Molly Gasden worked at Henry's Hardware since her parents were killed in a car accident. She didn't want to go to college so she got a job. And she loved it.
Her boss, and store owner, Jack Geardy yells at everyone on a daily basis but that doesn't bother Molly. She is used to it. It wouldn't be the same if Jack didn't yell every 5 minutes about something. It was one of the constant things about the town of Constant.
When the new police chief arrives, Molly senses an instant attraction. Before you can say drywall, Molly and Mark are dating. Soon the new police chief is a constant figure at the hardware store. When strangers come to the store and argue with Jack, that worries Molly. Jack has always had a temper, but all he did was yell. Jack's bark is worse than his bite.
Once Jack goes missing, Molly feels like it is up to her to help find him. The list of suspects are few but Constant is just a small town.
When they find Jack, it is the police chief that has to question his soon to be wife since there are only a handful of people that Jack didn't think of fondly.
Could Molly really have killed the boss? Why would she? And can she find out who did it?
