Being the most sought after psychiatrist in the United States can be trying at times, to say the least. Dr. Kinley Bernard works and lives in a world where secrets are everything. However, when the secrets of her own past begin to emerge, she soon learns the life she thought she knew is not as it seems. The decision to move and start a new practice in Chicago, the city she's always loved, seemed like the best thing to do since the incessant jabbering of rich, bored house wives were starting to take a toll.
