Pride Not for Sale

Jalissa Jolie Pride had been through a lot as the daughter of the former State Prosecutor Jeremiah Pride who'd been accused of bribery before going missing years ago. She'd had to live with the cartel destroying her family since she was a teenager. Of course thanks to her uncle former military commander Lincoln Walker for calling in the Michaels family for help she turned out okay.
Now as an adult she was special agent J.J. Pride with the U.S. Special Units Task Force. And it was also the place where she admired the man of her dreams from afar. Although they'd had one encounter he didn't really know she existed. However, she was happy just to catch a glimpse of him occasionally.
Garrett Michaels worked long hours as a team leader and he was one of the few senior agents in charge at the U.S. Special Units Task Force. He didn't have time for love or romance beside he couldn't stop thinking about the amazing smile of one woman that had caught his eye. The crazy thing was it wasn't even a woman that he knew very well they worked in the same office but that was it.
When the commander had assigned him and his team to help out in an undercover mission that was already underway he didn't know what to expect but it wasn't what he saw. The sexy barely dressed red headed singer on stage was enough to blow his mind. And although he was there to meet his contact he found it hard to tear his gaze away from the woman.
All things being said it was fair to say that agent Rhett Michaels definitely wasn't ready for his encounter with agent J.J. Pride.
