Ruby is a beautiful woman. But because she is overweight, most men do not see her true self. What has kept her sane most days is having God in her life, helping her learn to love and accept the person God made her.
Ken is a handsome man who possesses a very special kindness and sensitively. He too, has been hurt badly in the past. He meets Ruby at a youth center where they both volunteer. He immediately sees her for the beautiful and amazing woman she is.
It takes faith and prayer for each of them to trust again, but their friendship quickly blossoms to a true and lasting love. But not without several bumps and hurdles along the way.
