The Debt

In the future, people are "retired" on their 66th birthday unless exempt. Midas Stanley, a widower and former scientist, has three months until retirement. While some refuse to go down without a fight, Midas hopes to say his goodbyes and find a home for his cat until a teenage boy enters his life and helps him to see what it's like for those who will remain after his passing.
