My Heart's Affliction

In my life, I have always felt emotions rather intensely. To express myself I took pen to page and began writing. I wrote my thoughts, concerns, aspirations... The search within myself led me to poetry. The harmony of words put to the song of emotion.

In my earlier works, I told how I felt with the knowledge I had at the time. What I felt. Though many of my personal views have changed over the years, I wanted to share my start in poetry first, as poetry seems to transcend verbal explanation. It is something you can feel in your soul.
