It is my autobiography which describes the 25 years I spent in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Australia and my time in Southwest Africa as a member of the United Nations Mission to Namibia Southwest Africa to assist in the drafting up a proposal for the independence of Namibia from South Africa. My time on the Egyptian/Israeli border as a UN headquarters member, assisting the United Nations Emergency forces during the year 1978-1979, and then on to Australia. It also covers the time I spent in France during the Algerian Crisis in Paris, Munich, and many other countries. My travels took to many parts of the world. The book is begins with my childhood as with a single parent, and how my sister, mother and I survived. The book is funny, tearful, at times incredible, inward looking and ever questioning the conditions under which people are often forced to survive. It moves the very poorest the the very rich,
