Memories of the Way it Was

Memory lane may draw you back to days of "Washing Dishes Way Back When" or maybe when your Mama did laundry down at the creek on a washboard. The days come to mind when family members were overseas somewhere serving in World War II. Perhaps the job of milking cows and making butter, shucking corn and cooking on a wood fired stove make you twist your nose a bit. Could be you can laugh and remember some of your neighbors during this time or a favorite (little weird), aunt or uncle. All these things may bring back smells, feelings, thoughts of the way it was many years ago. They all have a smidgen of truth in them with a bit of fiction laced in to make them readable. That's what these stories are about. The stories cannot die and this book won't let them. That why it is called, Memories Of The Way It Was.
