The Light of Life Shines Bright

Counted by a beaming dad

Tears of Joy running down her cheeks
His favorite Lemon-iced Birthday cake
His first boo-boo fixed with a hug, a kiss and a band-aid.
Proud, tearful, parents watching their son leave home on his first day of College.
A giving, loving mother awaiting her first grandchild
A mother and son holding hands in a dark hospital room
Sharing how much they mean to each other on the night her light dims, flickers
Then goes out, here on Earth.
A grieving son who knows he has a legacy of love to forward on to his kids and grandkids.
