Canton, Mississippi the city where everything is not what it seems. James Jackson a high school kid that enjoyed swimming at this particular lake that divided two worlds, and found himself in a dilemma
when he tried to help someone. Which would eventually cause him to be put in a traumatic situation. He quickly learned that trying to do the right thing in Mississippi is not always the best thing.

He witnessed several murders at a young age that would eventually hunt him for life. Being sheltered by his parents, he never witnesses racism. But it came at him from all directions. From the colored and the whites.

Hatred, racism, life in prison and even the death sentence was all
calling his name. James had two options. Leave Canton or die.
