The Other Side of the Struggle

Mental illness is not something that is openly talked about in today's society; even more so in the church. When someone struggles with mental illness it affects more than just them; it affects the people in their life.
Danielle Foisy has walked for eight years with a husband who struggles with mental illness, six of which were undiagnosed and untreated. There have been many ups and downs and dark seasons that have taught her invaluable lessons that she hopes can help others who are walking in the same shoes. In the darkest and hardest times while living with a husband who struggles with mental illness, she found there were not a lot of resources for the person who is supporting someone who is struggling. The goal of this book is to change that and start the conversation.
As a spouse of someone struggling, Danielle realized that there are many obstacles, emotions, and struggles that come with mental illness and this book explores what that looks like and how to endure the tough times that come with being that support system.
