The Death Market

Fresh out of law school, Elliot Whitcomb thinks he's finished with his education and ready to begin the rest of his life. He just began working for a law firm in Chicago, he and his soon-to-be fiancée bought a house, and things are falling into place. However, after a fellow attorney at Crosby and Cole introduces him to an illegal, underground market where investors wager on the likelihood that unsuspecting people will die, Elliot gets more than he bargained for. More heavily involved in the market than he ever planned to be, Elliot must find a way to survive.
